The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) took action and registered 163 cases on traffic voilations. PHP teams registered 397 cases against commuters on various traffic violations and seized four motorcycles for using fake registration number plates or green number plates. The PHP team arrested 39 accused for fixing prohibited gas cylinder while the team also arrested eight dacoits and recovered two bikes, four mobile phones, two pistols and two magazines.
