IGP expects professionalism from SPs

LAHORE: Inspector of Punjab Police Captain (retried) Arif Nawaz Khan has said the officers and personnel should fulfill their duties with more responsibility, hard work and dutifulness, considering it a pious deed to ensure the safety of lives and properties of people. 
He said the officers/officials should take advantage of the Triple One Intelligence I (II) system of the Lahore Police to fulfill modern policing requirements.
Khan further said preferential steps should be taken for resolution of problems of poor, helpless and deserved individuals and crackdown against criminals and anti social elements should be boosted up.
He emphasized upon the speedy change of Thana culture following reforms in the information technology in police system.
The IG expressed those views while addressing the officers who got promotion from rank of DSP to SP at Central Police Office (CPO) o Friday.
The IG Punjab congratulate them and asked them to improve their performance by hard work, adopt practical measures, and devise duties timing of subordinates for their facilitation.
Khan further said the ACRs should be finalized at the earliest possible time to speed up the promotion process following the methods of Lahore police to avoid unnecessary delays.
