LAHORE: Inspector-General (IG) of Police Punjab Captain (R) Arif Nawaz Khan commended Punjab Police for providing best security arrangements on the event of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain A.S and Urs of Hazrat Data Ali Hajveri r.a.
IG while praising officers and officials of Punjab Police for providing foolproof security arrangements said that Punjab Police deserve applause for doing security duties with full commitment and dutifulness.
These views were expressed by him when he communicated his wireless message to CCPO Lahore, all RPOs, CPOs and DPOs including all force.
He further said that I congratulate to all police force including district police, Elite Punjab, Punjab Highway Patrol, Dolphin, PRU, Wireless Staff, Traffic Staff, Control Room staff, Special Branch, Punjab Constabulary, CTD and Ministerial staff whose dutifulness and professionalism successfully maintained the environment of law and order across the province.
He advised the officials that they should continue their duties with the same zeal and determination in the future too.
First priority should always be to ensure coordination between the police and the public, he concluded.
